Student Advisory Council

The Philadelphia STEM Equity Collective is calling  for nominations for its 2022-23 Student Advisory Council.  We are looking for students who are currently in 9th to 11th grade during the 2021-22 school year. The goal of this Council is to guide the efforts of the Collective through the student voice. The twelve members of the Student Council will help guide strategies and provide feedback on their effectiveness for the beneficiaries of the Collective.  Student participation is so important that two students from the council will be part of the Collective's Steering Committee.

We expect our committee to be a diverse group of students representative of the Philadelphia region who champion our goal to increase the number of Black, Latinx and women Philadelphia students entering STEM careers by 2030 through modeling our Guiding Principles.
