SHORT-TERM OUTCOMES:

  • Postsecondary institutions consider a wide range of skills and experiences for entry into STEM programs of study (e.g., eliminate SAT/ACT scores

  • Postsecondary institutions increase opportunities for remediation and preparation for studnets to enter and excel in STEM programs.

  • Postsecondary degree and non-degree STEM progams provide real-world and career-transferrable experienes that align to STEM careers.

  • More women and Black and Latinx Philadelphia high school graduates major in STEM fields.

LONG-TERM OUTCOMES:

Philadelphia STEM employers have equitable policies and utilize best practices to recruit, hire, retain, and promote women and Black and Latinx Philadelphians.
