Pennsylvania STEM Coalition
The Pennsylvania STEM Coalition is an initiative under the Pennsylvania Department of Education for the purpose of uniting all STEM stakeholders (ecosystems, networks, consortiums, business/industry, higher education, LEAs, libraries, NGOs, out of school time organizations, etc.) from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania STEM Coalition is a collective of stakeholders that planted the seeds for:
• A common vision for STEM
• Monthly virtual statewide STEM collaboration meetings
• The Pennsylvania’s computer science initiative
• The expansion of STEM Ecosystems
• The formation of the PAsmart[SEP4]Initiative
• The review of Pennsylvania’s Science standards
The PA STEM Coalition is being led by Judd Pittman, Special Consultant to the Secretary of Education on STEM, and the Pennsylvania Statewide STEM Ecosystem (PSSE). The vision of the PSSE is to support all Pennsylvanians' access to quality STEM education and career pathways and to becoming tomorrow’s leaders, influencers, and problem-solvers.
We invite all of the Pennsylvania’s STEM Champions to join us and to continue to support Pennsylvania’s vision for STEM!
