Our young Philadelphians do not have equitable access to meaningful STEM learning opportunities. Across the city, many wonderful organizations and schools are creating opportunities, but inequity of access still exists. Barriers to access range from the logistics of transportation, to unawareness of programming, to the scarcity of resources and insufficient exposure to Science in some classrooms.
As an emerging workgroup, we are still in the process of shaping our collective project.
